Friday, July 10, 2009/ 11:30 AM an escape to the wonders of eastern europe I'm back! x) Actually yesterday afternoon but I'm only here to blog now! There are tonnes of things to do, like upload photos, compile photos from everywhere, admire the things I bought and pack up my mess! The trip was amazing and fun-filled! I'm so suffering from withdrawal symptoms from Europe trip, I want to go back again! Everything in a nutshell: #1. Forged friendships. I'm glad I got to know many more people this trip! It was really fun spending these days with this bunch of fun people. #2. Made great music. We won the first prize among the many performing groups! It was unbelievable and amazing! This year the Grand Prix - the award of the Minister of Education and the award of the European Penderecki Centre for Music went to NUS CHINESE ORCHESTRA from Singapore. #3. Toured around beautiful Europe! Poland (Bydgoszcz, Torun, Warsaw, Krakow), Czech Republic (Prague, Olomouc) and Austria (Salzburg, Vienna). Europe is really pretty with its scenery and architecture. #4. Saw and took photos of alot of dogs! Many people in Europe own dogs and they bring them out everywhere, even shopping and on the subway! Hearts! #5. The experience of performing and touring in Europe is so precious. Especially when we stood at the front of the stage as we got the prize! Just want to thank everyone who made my days in Europe, thank vetty and dad for sending and fetching me, thank dad for sponsoring my trip, thank nusco for organizing the trip, thank my lovely friends for all the fun during the 10 days! :) Dziekuje! (pronounced as jENkoo-yeh; meaning thankyou in Polish.) P.S. The only 2 Polish terms I learnt in Polish is dziekuje (thank you) and lody (ice cream)! Because we ate lots of ice cream in Poland, as we go around asking for lodys! |

Saturday, June 27, 2009/ 6:25 AM before i leave for europe  This is of ultimate cuteness! :)And before I leave for Europe, I'm here to blog! :) I'm still in the midst of packing and preparing everything for the trip! I'm such a procrastinator and a lazy bum, resulting in such last minute panic and troubles. Sigh. My brother is really funny. When I asked what presents or souvenirs he want from Europe, he said to buy Doritos back because the flavours in Singapore are very limited. So he wants to try other flavours that are available overseas although Doritos are from US. He said that any country should have more flavours than Singapore, so I'm supposed to get Doritos from Europe for him. HAHA. This whole week was quite a mad rush because I got to buy things that I need and run some errands. But it was great meeting with some people too! Met Steph and Nana and had a long time talking because we haven't had such long chats for a long time! Then met Jean who's leaving for Aussie one day before me to study in Univ of Queensland! (Vetty's univ!) My 12 years and counting buddy! Also met Leona, Audrey and Du Qian because Leona is back from Aussie for a holiday! There was this very ridiculous and hilarious coke incident which happened to Leonie and me! And Vetty changed his car.  Before AfterI'll miss everyone when I'm away! |

Saturday, June 20, 2009/ 10:54 PM give thanks to the Lord for He is good  isn't this like way cute? (: i love dachshunds.It's the time of the year again, TRAVELLING! :) I can't believe I'm leaving Singapore to Eastern Europe like in one week's time for 10 days! I think I'm really going to be super duper homesick and I will miss my dog terribly! I must spend so much time with my family now, especially my dog! And it's also the time again, when I feel terribly broke. Deprivation of cash really. At the start of GSS, I actually don't feel that broke because I set aside some money for shopping. And then I have been going shopping but there wasn't much to buy too. So I bought like one thing every shopping trip. But now I realise all these 'one thing' add up to many many things! Plus shopping online. So, I'm broke again. This week I've either been going out & spending money or rotting at home. Caught Blood: the Last Vampire with Audrey Sissy and Gracie Moonie and it was quite gruesome and violent. I screamed into Audrey's ears and grabbed onto Grace again! But it was quite a weird movie as it ended abruptly, saying 'Saya is looking for her beings on the other side of the world.' Then I watched 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' with Jasmin and it was really funny! I love such movies that make me laugh out loud! haha. And I had dinner with Wuliaos at Hooked and Fant4 at Breeks! :) Meeting up with people is much fun! My current addiction is like Restaurant City! OMT! I can't stop playing, levelling up, gathering ingredients, adding people to get ingredients, trading to get the ingredients I need, using the ingredients to level up my food, thinking of more dishes to create, yaada yaada. hahaha I'm mad along with Jasmin and Renee who are also levelling and leveling. Jasmin levels her restaurant way fast while Renee levels her dishes damn fast lah. Okay I should stop spending the whole time at home on Restaurant City now. lol. I need cream and onions! &&& HAPPY DADDY'S DAY! |

Saturday, June 13, 2009/ 10:50 AM elmo and cookie monster It's the weekend again! :) But since it's the holidays, every day is a happy day!  This was taken at NYDC when I met Audrey for desserts and lunch some time ago. So funny! Which reminds me I still have not uploaded many overdue photos. Oops.This past week was ARGH. The main reason being I went to distribute flyers with Eunice at Raffles Place for a prepaid sim card company. Argh! We worked from Tues to Fri, 1130 to 1430. It's like only three short hours but we were standing in open air and it was so humid and tiring. There were many people who didn't want to take the flyers but there were also many kind souls who took it due to sympathy! lol. What makes it worst is that we were actually placed at different locations so it was so boring being alone. And not to mention, it's really such an embarrassing job! I was pretty much embarrassed most of the time and I absolutely don't want to see anyone I know. haha. So actually I only had 2 one-week jobs, which is the HGW and the flyers one. And I think I earned only like 250 for these 2 weeks. And I'm jobless again. Anyway, I shall just blame it on the economy that I'm unable to get a job. Stupid recession! haha. If only I can have a high-paying, unboring and cool job that wants me for 2 months. haha. But oh well, I don't have time to work anymore since I'm flying to Europe in 2 weeks time! I really want to thank daddy for sponsoring my whole trip since I have no income. Oh well. Was previously in this very nutty mood once again! Argh. But luckily, things changed for the better and I'm fine already. haha. So I'm happy now. happy happy happy. |

Saturday, June 06, 2009/ 10:03 AM maybe i'm in need of a psychiatrist HERE! Okay, I shall blog a bit despite feeling like going to roll around the bed and sleep. Talking about it, I don't know why but it has become such a habit that every night, I will have to roll around for awhile like 1 hour before falling asleep. I will either be thinking of stuff that happened in the day or just messaging and staring at my phone. Then the habit of sleeping with my phone under my pillow. And setting all 5 alarms in my phone but not even waking up even though it's blasting BBF and Spongebob songs. And I always have to cover my dog with a blanket before I sneak into mine, and his blanket is actually a floor mat that is enough to cover him! Listening to BBF songs make me happy! :D And also the Nobody song by Wonder Girls! I'm hooked to that now! Audrey and my song of the moment! We watched the video, tried to do their actions in their dance and being totally silly and stupid again! I WANT NOBODY NOBODY BUT CHIUUUU clapclap pointpoint! She suggested I sing it to a certain someone but NO! Ah, I've just crapped two paragraphs of nonsense. Sometimes, I really get myself into a dilemma. I have this love-hate relationship with rotting at home, and another love-hate relationship with going out. I enjoy just staying at home to watch tv, videos, read, online and all. But, sometimes too much of these really make me depressed. Like the overwhelming sense of boredom and emptyness just results in an utmost state of depression. I think it's when I start thinking too much about stuff and letting the slightest things annoy or upset me. And then there's the going out part. It's good that it keeps me occupied and also prevents the nutty phase from setting in. But, I will feel bad when I hang around outside too much and being outside also means spending money. Okay, now I think I'm not making sense and I really should be off to bed. |

Sunday, May 31, 2009/ 10:33 AM flutters HAPPY BIRTHDAY VETTY. :D This week is pretty eventful! What's with results (GAH!), a birthday, GSS, H1N1 in Singapore. And the usual outings, practices and clinic sessions. 250509 Shopped with Jean in town. And this girl is so annoying and irritating. She kept complaining how slow and indecisive I am while I kept complaining that she is so full of complaints. HAHA. This is one lousy shopping buddy. hahaha. I was being so cheapo and budget that I didn't buy anything much either. 270509 Met up with the Higgins at Shan Ting's house to play and game! I brought my Spongebob Monopoly but we played Wii the whole time so didn't get to play Monopoly. Guitar Heroes was cool with the drumset and the guitar! I was pretty nooby. Jasmin had horrible coordination skills! hahaha. Then we played Mario Party which I played on DS before. We were laughing like crazy over the stupid things we did for the minigames. Eunice was such a pro in getting the stars. Then we played Mario and Sonic Beijing Olympics which I played on DS before too but Wii was tougher. We looked super dumb doing the swimming, running and canoe events. lol! 290509 Results day! Otherwise known as Doom's Day! Shucks. I wasn't too depressed when I saw the results. I got to thank God it wasn't worst. But, it was definitely sucky. GAH! Work hard next sem! Was supposed to go swimming at Aunt's office at Clarke Quay because the office towers has facilities. But I ended up wading around, playing with water and sitting around the jacuzzi. What a lazy ass I am. lol. Then I met my church youth mates at Dhoby Ghaut for Aliens VS Monsters. The whole cinema was laughing but I was the only one who was like hmm, is it that funny? I don't know if the problem lies with me or the movie. It's just okay funny, but not hahahaha funny. 300509 Missed practice because I was at the clinic. It was a busy day and I was so disgusted by this incident! This group of people brought their dog to see vetty and then he was giving them consultations on what to do. Then they were considering and hovering around the clinic. They not only decided not to heed vetty's suggestions, but they decided to run away without paying! True that vetty didn't give any medications or injections but don't they see that when you see a doctor, you got to pay consultation fees? OMG when I went outside and saw nobody in sight, I was shocked and disgusted. What a bitch! GAH! Was really pissed! And then I headed for class dinner at City Link Mall with s18 people and chatting session at Esplanade's rooftop. |
